BTECH’s New S5 Series Battery Monitoring System

BTECH’s fifth generation Battery Monitoring and Validation system has been designed with the latest digital processing technology and all of the experience we’ve collected from installing, maintaining and monitoring over 4000 systems worldwide. We’ve taken everything we’ve learned from our customers and we’re bringing it to market with a combination of superior products and services that only BTECH can provide.

A Superior Measurement Method

BTECH’s patented Impedance Method is superior to competitors measuring Resistance to determine battery health. The basic difference between the two is that Impedance includes the AC component in the measurement that is affected by the capacitance of the battery, an important factor eliminated by lesser methods. Since the capacitance is included in every basic model of a battery, you can make a meaningful measurements that correlate with battery capacity, and all major battery companies who publish data use Impedance for this reason.

A Proven Battery Management Plan with Customer Testimonials

Our customers - some of them with over 12 years experience - have actually shown us the best ways to manage batteries by measurement data instead of a schedule. Using the data from our systems, customers have changed to responding to battery problems only when the data tells them to. In some cases, they have been able to extend battery life by 100%. Plus, our new Battery Validation Manager with Observer software - now in version 4 - has been completely revised with comprehensive data trending and warranty reporting, providing unmatched flexibility and power.
